2021-07-27 ㅣ No.148599 헨리 나웬 신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 7월 27일 <영성생활의 창문이라는 것> A Window on Our Spiritual Lives 감정으로 사는 것과 영성으로 사는 건 따로따로지만 서로 깊은 영향을 주고 받습니다. 말하자면 우리가 느끼는 게 종종 영성으로 걸어가는 길에 창문 역할을 한다는 겁니다. 강샘에서 벗어나지 못하면 우리가 과연 우리 안의 성령님을 만나뵙고 "아빠”라고 부르짖을 수 있을지 긴가민가 할 수 있는 겁니다. 아주 평화롭고 “가온에 머문다”는 느낌이 든다면 이거야말로 우리가 사랑받고 있다는 걸 깊이 인식한다는 표시임을 깨달을 수 있는 겁니다. 이와 마찬가지로 우리 안에 성령님께서 계시다는 걸 신실하게 응답하며 살아가는 기도생활도 우리의 감정과 느낌 그리고 열정에 창문을 활짝 열어줍니다. 하여 하느님의 마음에로 나아가는 머나먼 길에서 그것들을 잘 활용하는 방법을 넌지시 알려줄 수 있는 겁니다. A Window on Our Spiritual Lives JULY 27 Even though our emotional and spiritual lives are distinct, they do influence one another profoundly. Our feelings often give us a window on our spiritual journeys. When we cannot let go of jealousy, we may wonder if we are in touch with the Spirit in us that cries out “Abba.” When we feel very peaceful and “centered,” we may come to realise that this is a sign of our deep awareness of our belovedness. Likewise our prayer lives, lived as faithful response to the presence of the Spirit within us, may open a window on our emotions, feelings, and passions and give us some indication of how to put them into the service of our long journey into the heart of God.
