<공동체의 몸이라는 것>
The Body of Community

밥상에 모여 함께 빵을 쪼개면 우리 한 사람 한 사람은 물론 공동체로도 탈바꿈합니다. 나이와 인종, 자라온 배경과 역사는 다르지만 우리 모두 한 몸이 되는 겁니다. 사도 바오로의 말씀대로 입니다. “빵이 하나이므로 우리는 여럿일지라도 한 몸입니다. 우리 모두 한 빵을 함께 나누기 때문입니다.”(1코린 10,17).

한 사람 한 사람으로만아니라 공동체로도 우리는 들어올려지시고 축복받으시며 쪼개지시어 세상에 주어지신 분, 살아 계신 그리스도가 되는 겁니다. 한 몸이 된 우리는 모든 민족과 나라를 함께 하느님의 한 가족으로 모으시려는 하느님의 헤아릴 수 없는 바램을 생생하게 전하는 증인이 되는 겁니다.

"은사는 여러 가지지만 성령은 같은 성령이십니다. 직분은 여러 가지지만 주님은 같은 주님이십니다. 활동은 여러 가지지만 모든 사람 안에서 모든 활동을 일으키시는 분은 같은 하느님이십니다."
(1코린12,4-6)

The Body of Community

When we gather around the table and break the bread together, we are transformed not only individually but also as community. We, people from different ages and races, with different backgrounds and histories, become one body. As Paul says: “As there is one loaf, so we, although there are many of us, are one single body, for we all share in the one loaf” (1 Corinthians 10:17).

Not only as individuals but also as community we become the living Christ, taken, blessed, broken, and given to the world. As one body, we become a living witness of God’s immense desire to bring all peoples and nations together as the one family of God.

"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all." - I Corinthians 12: 4-6 (NIV)
