찬미예수님! 신원일 형제님, 박윤식 형제님을 위해 기도드립니다.

같은 꿈을 품은 분들을 만난다는 것은 참으로 큰 은총입니다. 신원일 형제님께서 먼저 손을 내밀어 주시고 함께 시작해보자고 청해 주신 그 따뜻한 용기가 깊이 와닿았습니다. 박윤식 형제님께서 조용히 기도로 뒤를 받쳐 주시겠다 하신 말씀 또한 작지 않은 힘이 됩니다.

사도 바오로는 코린토 신자들에게 이렇게 썼습니다.

"나는 심었고 아폴로는 물을 주었습니다. 그러나 자라게 하신 분은 하느님이십니다." (1코린 3,6)

이 말씀이 지금 제 마음을 잘 대변해 줍니다. 같은 비전을 나누는 사람들이 있다는 것 자체가 이미 하느님께서 이 꿈에 관심을 두고 계신다는 징표일 수 있습니다. 그러나 씨앗을 심는 이와 물을 주는 이와 거두는 이가 각기 다르듯, 이 일을 어느 때에 어떤 방식으로 현실로 이끄실지는 전적으로 하느님의 섭리 안에 있습니다.

솔직히 말씀드리면, 저는 미국에 있고 형제님들은 한국에 계십니다. 거리의 문제뿐 아니라, 이런 공동체를 실제로 일으켜 세우는 일은 열정과 선한 의지만으로는 넘기 어려운 현실적인 무게가 있습니다. 무엇보다 아무리 아름다운 발상이라 할지라도, 지금 이 순간 우리들의 위치에서 직접 그것을 추진하는 것이 과연 우리에게 맡겨진 소명인가 하는 물음을 겸손히 자신에게 던져보게 됩니다.

그래서 저는 이 꿈을 조용히 하느님 앞에 내려놓으려 합니다. 억지로 이루려 하기보다, 주님께서 마련하신 때와 사람을 기다리는 것 또한 신앙의 한 자세라고 생각하기 때문입니다. 오늘 이렇게 같은 열망을 나눌 수 있었던 것만으로도 이미 충분히 감사한 은총입니다.

형제님들의 신앙 여정 위에 주님의 평화가 언제나 함께하시길 기도드립니다.

Praised be Jesus Christ! I pray for you, Brother Shin Won-il, and Brother Park Yun-sik.

To encounter others who carry the same dream in their hearts is truly a great grace. Brother Shin, your warmth and courage in reaching out first and inviting us to begin this journey together touched me deeply. And Brother Park, your quiet promise to support this dream from behind with your prayers is no small gift.

Saint Paul wrote to the Corinthians:

"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth." (1 Cor 3:6)

These words speak directly to my heart in this moment. The very fact that we have found one another, sharing the same vision, may itself be a sign that God is already at work in this dream. And yet, just as the one who plants, the one who waters, and the one who harvests are each different, so too the question of when and how this dream will take root in reality belongs entirely to God's providence, not to our own hands alone.

To speak honestly, I am here in the United States while you are in Korea. But it is not merely a matter of distance. Building a community like this from the ground up carries a weight that good intentions and warm hearts alone cannot easily bear. And above all, however beautiful a vision may be, I find myself humbly asking whether it is truly our calling, in our present circumstances, to be the ones who directly carry it forward.

And so I choose to quietly place this dream before God. Rather than striving to make it happen by our own effort, I believe that waiting for the persons and the moment that the Lord has prepared is itself a profound act of faith. That we were able to share this longing with one another today is already more than enough to be grateful for.

May the peace of the Lord always accompany each of you on your journey of faith.
